Facebook’s internal search engine, allows us to search for keywords, then filter the results to pages whose name or description contains the keywords. We can also search for posts, then filter to posts from our groups and pages. But we can not only search for content within pages.
Fortunately, the URLs of the content and the internal sections of Facebook pages have a special reference indicating that this content or entity is from a page.
Using Google’s inurl: dork, we can search for content that contains this special reference in its URL. We will use the site: dork as well, to limit our results to Facebook alone.
Search Google for “keyword” site:facebook.com inurl:ref=page_internal, and you’ll get all the content or entities that match these keywords and are linked to a page. This way we can explore many more results, and find related pages, even those that do not mention the keyword in their name or description.
